After close consultation with our partners in the beard community around the world, we’ve made the difficult decision to postpone the 2021 World Beard & Moustache Championships.
Having spent the past couple of years preparing for the championships with our committee, team, venue and other event partners, we're genuinely upset and disappointed not to be able to host you at this time.
We want to thank everyone for your support, open discussions and encouragement. As everyone has been reminding us, great things happen when the community comes together. For this reason, WE FULLY INTEND TO HOST THE WORLD CHAMPS IN 2023.
We will be working hard to finalize the details and will share more information about our plans in the coming weeks.
While this decision comes at a time of universal uncertainty, we take the safety and health of our guests, staff and community very seriously. We urge everyone to follow the guidelines and protocols put forth by public health officials.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you in our beautiful country in 2023.
Note: this will move the England WBMC to 2025.
Our country is full of surprises and visitors will fall in love with the variety of attractions and activities that we have to offer.
What a better opportunity to come to the ‘land of the big white cloud’ than being part of such unique event like the WBMC.
In Auckland you will find a vibrant city surrounded by immaculate beaches, native forest and several islands all at the palm of your hand. Stay a few more days and discover what this country has to offer.
We want visitors to have time to plan different activities in Auckland, the surrounding areas or even better, the rest of New Zealand.
March 2021 is the last off-shoulder month of the calendar year in terms of being a ‘tourist season' in New Zealand, and is arguably one of the best months in which to visit.
March 2021 weather is almost perfect to walk around shopping zones, galleries and parks.
For fans of hiking and outdoor adventure, Auckland offers a variety of bush walks, hidden cascades, spectacular landscapes and tourist adventures.
